I did not enjoy this and will not be purchasing again. While the eggs where soggy, the sausage was still crunchy. I tried a couple times with different water/time and still didn't really rehydrate correctly.

This meal was bought as gift for low-carb friend. He is very pleased with the Next Mile Meals I have given him. Your meals are the best freeze-dried low-carb option I have found so far.

I have eaten many sausage and egg backpacking meals- this one is definitely one of my favorite. I have had some issues here and there where the cheese doesn’t melt and or clumps up. I typically let the bag rehydrate longer than is directed otherwise the eggs don’t fully rehydrate and you can get a crunchy core. Overall though the flavor is top notch, quality is very high and the amount always fills me up. I periodically add black pepper to mine but that is my preference and really is not necessary. I do recommend this brand to others particularly if you have dietary restrictions as they offer a relatively clean and as healthy as can be meal for backpacking eggs/suasage.

This had the worst taste and texture of any backpacking meal I’ve ever tried. I will not be purchasing any more of these.
